Cloud computing is the element behind everything we use online including: programs, applications, and services. It is the set of services that integrate the Software and Hardware then deliver it as a one service. In other words, it is a service that provides an easy usage for the online applications and software. E-mail is a clear example. It does not make you worry about the way of storage, the backup, and software development. Also, it eases the way of managing any business sufficiently with a low cost. Therefore, a lot of companies prefer to use it. Also, you can manage and access your files and data from any device.

Advantages of Cloud Computing

  1. Low Cost: It can be used from any device everywhere. That’s why, companies will not need to have special servers and devices.
  2. Accessibility: It can be used from any device that has an internet connection.
  3. Continuity: It ensures the continuity of client’s work as it saves the data and allow to have a backup in case of loss.
  4. Security: It provides the customer with effective protection and security system.

Types of Cloud Computing

  1. Public: It is an infrastructure that is used by some customers who have the same field of work. It provides them with all the required applications, services, and programs with low costs,
  2. Private: Same as the public cloud, but it is submitted to one client or one company and the client has the right to determine all the factors of security, storage, and others,
  3. Hybrid: It combines the qualities of both the public and the private cloud.

Cloud Computing Models:

  1. Infrastructure “IaaS”: It ensures a permanent presence for the applications, software, storage, and others. However, the price of this service is determined according to the client’s usage. In other words, the less you use, the less you pay and vice versa.
  2. Platform “PaaS”: It is responsible for evaluating and testing the applications. This step comes after the infrastructure model and before the software model. Also, it offers a suitable environment to get your work done faster instead of getting huge server,
  3. Software “SaaS”: Means that you are able to use the software and the applications online without any need to download them on your computer which takes a lot of time and effort.

Conclusion

Cloud computing is a different and a distinctive way for managing business in a total sufficient way. Besides, it is a low-price service and an easy-access service. It also eases a lot of business for the user and saves a lot of time.
